ColurLovers.com is a great site.

Fooling around on colurlovers.com making some fun color palettes. I have used kuler.adobe.com too but I think I am going to take all my palettes from there and move to ColurLovers. I like the community and the site there much beter. Plus it was the original color site. Check out the new palette I made [...]

Tea: Golden Monkey

This one is another Chinese black tea. Compared to Keemun Rhapsody I did not think this one was as strong in taste. On second though maybe as strong just not as tasty. The tea has a bit of floral taste to it, not much but a little. I think it is a decent tea, just not the best.

Another day, same government.

I make no secret that I voted for Obama this election. There were many reasons for my vote. Some of the more important reasons though, were because of the unwarranted searches, wire tappings, and intrusions into American citizens privacy that the conservative side seemed to endorse (I am speaking generally here everyone is entitle to [...]

My thoughts are becoming a mish mash of knowledge.

For anyone that happens upon this blog and does not know, I recently become a designer for Craker Barrel Country Store. The job is great, I get to do a variety of different design jobs from web, to print, to identity. This is what I think is causing my brain to go mush. Before I [...]

“The Last Guy” is fun as all get out.

The game cost around 6$ maybe 10$ I can not really remember, but either price is well worth it in my opinion. The story of the game is that a zombie plague has taken hold of the world and only one man can lead the survivors to safty, one guess who that man is.

I am a tea drinking sissy.

Recently I decided to give up drinking coffee, I have also (mostly) given up drinking soda. I am not sure why I gave up both of these things, but I think somewhere along the way I heard that they were bad for you. So at any rate I was in need of a caffinated fix. I decided I would try some high end loose tea.

Violin lessons

Spring is here and now that my concert *cough*trainwreck*cough* is over with, I can relax. You know, you’d think that being a grown-up amongst kids would make me feel a little more confident, a little cooler since I have my own car and everything, but once I got up on stage with them, I was [...]

What the hell am I doing here? Honest blog entry.

Ok, so I’ve been sort of getting into all this Facebook (yuck at the new layout, it’s just no fun for me right now) and Twitter and blogging and Myspace stuff and now I’m sitting here, spending all this time in front of a computer, and what the hell for? I mean seriously… what am [...]

Bonfire

Lately I have not been feeling up to going out with friends or getting involved in extracurricular activities or professional organizations at work… just a few weeks ago, I was really gung-ho about getting super involved in everything. I wanted to take art classes, dance classes, and travel, and do a lot of community service [...]

Gamer girl… not really.

So Pat now wants me to play the Final Fantasy games, which apparently are (were?) pretty huge and I have never touched them before, ever. I’m not a gamer, but I’m also not a stranger to video games. I like to play the cutesy character games that are out there. My gaming adventures started when [...]

Story of the sago palm

I work in a cubicle. I attempt at making my cubicle a pleasant place to work. Well, so far the only attempt I have really made at that is I decided to buy a plant for my space last year. I don’t remember when it was but I was at a big-name store one day [...]

Way too many social networking sites

Since Patrick and I decided to do this blog for fun, I’ve been thinking and overthinking what I should write about for my very first entry. And then I figured, shoot – I’ll just start writing about what I’m currently thinking about and see where it goes. So right now, it’s the abundance of social [...]
