My new computer and Windows 7

Recently I got a friend to help me breakdown a few old computers I had laying about, and frankenstei a new computer together out of them. I have never had a machine like this, and while I have always been a child of Apple, this new PC is freaking awesome. I only had to really purchase a new case, and I got a new Video card. I wanted a huge case that I could use for sometime as I upgraded, so I went with this obnoxious bad boy. Lastly for the video card I decided to go all out, and got a really great deal on the ATI 4850, this thing is a beast, and I got a fantastic deal on it. And here is my finished computer:

The first thing I did was install the RC Windows 7 version I had before the official launch. It is obvious to me that Windows is ripping alot from Apple. The operating system is awesome though, I rarely ever get warnings popping up at me constantly as I did in XP, and on the rare occasion that it happens I actually understand the warning. The other thing I noticed is there is no lag or hourglasses at all, this may be because I now have a great computer or the new operating system though.

The most fantastic thing about my new setup is I can play any game, with the graphics turned all the way up! I played through Half life 2 again, and man is that game freakin awesome. I also have been playing alot of Dragon Age, Borderlands, and Torchlight. My newest craze is Mirror’s Edge, I grabbed the game from Steam when they sold it for $5, and it was worth every penny. That game is so much fun, and it really gives you the feeling of running along building tops.
